9" Toolroom Lathe

The 9" South Bend came in 4 models, each came with different bed lengths (pictured below). This Toolroom Model was the only one to only come with 3 bed lengths (3', 3 ½' & 4'). All of the 9" models came with either the flat belt or the V belt. The flat belt offered 6 or 12 spindle speed with great smoothness. The V belt provided 8 or 16 spindle speeds that were designed more for production work. This 9" Toolroom was identical to the 9" Model A, accept it had the works (all the goodies)
