Sheldon R-13 Lathe
The Sheldon R Series, like most of the
Sheldon Machine were quite remarkable for their time. Sheldon
strove for maximum sustained accuracy, power, profitability, etc
for the best affordable cost.
The
R-13 itself came standard with a 3 h.p. Single Speed Motor. Unique
to the R-13 was that it came with a 1 ½ through hole spindle
and a very popular 4 D1 Cam Lock, plus many exclusive features
below. |

Two Axis 900
Tracing Unit
This
fixture was intended for the HR Series (High Speed R Series). The
System itself is all Hydraulic & capable of duplicating
opposed 900 shoulders as well as
Grooving, Radii, Forms, etc. This mounted directly to the Carriage
furthermore the Structure contains its own separate Carriage
and Cross Slide. It sports a 6 ½ X 3 ½ Stroke
