Sheldon 12"  Backgear Shaper

This Shaper by Sheldon features a big precise13 ½” Stroke on the 8000S & 8000P. The only difference between the two models is the 8000S came with a Swivel table, while the 8000P has the plain table. It is powerful and came standard with a 1 ½ h.p. 220/440 3 Phase or a 110/220 3 Phase motor. It’s Weight is about 1800 lbs

Automatic Oiling System

This structure mechanically oiled the Ram Ways, Bull Gear, and Pinion and Rocker Arm assembly. It had to be ordered with the Shaper and installed at the Factory.

Shaper Vise

Sheldon provided a very durable vise. Jaws were 7” with a 6” opening typical depth of 1 ½”. Supplied standard with a swivel base.
