which can be locked in any angle slide travel is 1 ¾”. This
Type of Tool Post uses a standard .312 Square Bit. Another type of
Tool Holder for this Turning Slide is the D-2,
which holds 2 Tool
Bits.

Double Tool Cross Slide
If you have ever have had
one of these Hardinge Production Cross Slides apart you would
appreciate the craftsmanship that went into the design of this
useful tool. If you own one and have not had it apart it's
probably due for a good cleaning. Requirements are every 3 months
(last we read)

L-7 Motor Grinder
The
L-7 Grinder mounts directly to the Compound
Cross Slide. It achieves Spindle speeds 10,000 – 22,500 RPM, and
can be used for external as well as internal. (Personal
note: One of these is not going on my Machine.)
