Unlike the 5C Collet Closer, the B&S #21 lever moves to the right to lock position. This action eliminates the stock “pulling back” in the collet. This is quite a unique Manual Bar Machine. All the attachments that fit on the dovetail bed of the DV-59, & DSM-59, fit the VBS & VBS-R as well.
