Bridgeport Series 2 BOSS 6

The Series 2 was specially designed by Bridgeport to incorporate larger table size and the ability to hold heavier loads on the table. With the lager table this was much easier to have a Forth Axis. The Bridgeport Operating System Software 6 had all the same features as it's predecessors, but also came standard with quite a few upgrades as well. Like 3 Axis continuous path contouring, 8 Canned Cycles, & quite a few others Thus the Series 2 BOSS 6 has a page all of it's own.

Bridgeport 10" Rotary Table

The motor is a 2:1 reduction toothed belt drive which in turn drives a gear that is a 90:1. Thus the overall ratio is 180:1.
